HOW TO USE STRUMMER 3

Ample Guitar Strummer 3 is made for Ample Sound's acoustic guitar sample libraries. It will work with their electric guitars as well, but it is optimized for an acoustic sound. However, it is NOT made for other sample libraries because it uses specific key switches made for Ample Sound instruments. 

No, these are MIDI files, so they must be dragged onto your track and played back with your Ample Sound acoustic guitar. 

Yes, since every DAW has MIDI capabilities, and Ample Sound guitar works in virtually every DAW, they will play back as intended.

Since they are MIDI files, they are not installed. They are saved in a folder of your choice and access through your DAW's media window.
